Frankly I cannot STAND smokers or when a person's house smells like an ashtray, but I'm not about to tell them what they can and cannot do. If they want to slowly (and surely) kill themselves, that's fine with me.

I agree that it should come down to the landlord and what he wants, the government should have no part in it, even though smoking is a disgusting habit that (imo) should be banned everywhere.

I see smoking as a necessary evil. The government makes A LOT of money from tobacco sales tax. If that revenue goes away, the government isn't going to just throw up the hands and say "Oh well! Easy come, easy go." Making up the loss of revenue has to come from somewhere.... they're going to want it back.

Tobacco: keeping non smokers taxes lower for hundreds of years.

her trial is right down the highway from me. Its in possibly the most redneck, backwoods, wanna be gangstaaaaar, white trash little town in Kentucky - Shepardsville. Its also one of the counties with the highest meth problem in kentucky as well. So this is pretty much equilivent to her hitting the Lotto.
