it's a completely different situation. you honestly think the majority of americans (like how the majority of americans oppose this war) would oppose fighting a country who attacked us? how can you even compare that to preemptively invading and occupying a nation based on complete bullshit?

WE GO AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO SAY WHAT YOU WANT! and if you disagree WE reserve the right to punch you right in YOUR ****ing MOUth.... Pardon the language. Its just as a service member, i can not stand to see other people bash me and my brothers. If you dont support the war, FINE, thats whatever. however you have to remember that those of us with the balls and mental fortitude to join the military and protect the AMERICAN way of life we are AMERICANS too.
Explain to me how using sniper bait in Iraq protects my freedom to say what ever i want.

I have seriously gotten to the point that i want the insurgents to kill as many troops as possible every single day we remain there.

Maybe then the public will wake the fuk up and demand that we exit.

I would rather the public wake up in a method that doesn't require fellow Americans to die.

If you think, people die. So you do what you are told with no questions asked. You do what you are told. If you wish to have a debate, you do that after the current mission is accomplished.

As for not being able to Fight this war with out the tax dollars. That is also true. They do help pay my paycheck and support my benefits etc etc.

But, for those of you that live and work in the civilian world, do you not get paid for doing the exact same thing I do? I mean that as in doing what you are told when you are told to do it to the best of your ability? As I recall, when i was a civilian, That is EXACTLY how i earned my paycheck.

Also please remember that none of our service members are draftees. Nor would the Draft be reinstated in our country and that is for one simple reason. The American Public would be in an outright raging outcry. Every service member in the Middle Eastern theater is a VOLUNTEER.

Pull Out? Best Idea? I dont know for sure but there are Pros and Cons to each side. I Personally do not believe that we should pull out yet. Why you ask? because the area is no where near stable enough to be self sustaining. It would quickly fall to yet another regime run by another warlord. How would that be any better for the world as a whole? It Wouldnt.

What is happening now?

I wasn't comparing the two at all. I'm just wondering how the US would react to a conflict like that. It seems that initially people might agree with going after a country that attacks us, however, I would be surprised if that feeling lasted for a drawn out period of time.

I've really had this question for a while now. Nothing to do with the current war.

So you are relating us, or our president to a warlord? as if our entire purpose in life is to bring pain and suffering to anyone who does not see the world our way? rrrrrright.

so then why are we not attempting to invade china, or north korea, or hell france?

AT&T Censors Customers' Negative Opinions

Don’t respond to this post if you want to keep your AT&T connection

Most people don’t read the fine print in their consumer contracts but those who do have noticed something about AT&T’s new terms of service. Apparently AT&T can now cut off your service if you express negative opinions about the company. Take a look:

“AT&T may immediately terminate or suspend all or a portion of your Service, any Member ID, electronic mail address, IP address, Universal Resource Locator or domain name used by you, without notice, for conduct that AT&T believes … tends to damage the name or reputation of AT&T, or its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries.”

This effectively means that if you are an AT&T customer and the company believes that you have spoken negatively about them in, oh let’s say a blog post, they can cut off your service and you have no recourse. Apparently AT&T's attitude is "either like it or lump it".

5.1 Suspension/Termination. Your Service may be suspended or terminated if your payment is past due and such condition continues un-remedied for thirty (30) days. In addition, AT&T may immediately terminate or suspend all or a portion of your Service, any Member ID, electronic mail address, IP address, Universal Resource Locator or domain name used by you, without notice, for conduct that AT&T believes (a) violates the Acceptable Use Policy; (b) constitutes a violation of any law, regulation or tariff (including, without limitation, copyright and intellectual property laws) or a violation of these TOS, or any applicable policies or guidelines, or © tends to damage the name or reputation of AT&T, or its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries. Termination or suspension by AT&T of Service also constitutes termination or suspension (as applicable) of your license to use any Software. AT&T may also terminate or suspend your Service if you provide false or inaccurate information that is required for the provision of Service or is necessary to allow AT&T to bill you for Service.
