What is wrong with our country today is young people have no respect for anything. You should not be able to sue your parents for punishing you, swats should still be allowed in school and a hundred others that I could list.

Well I can't argue with the first part of that statement. Political correctness is most certainly out of control in a million different ways too numerous to bother critiquing in a forum post.

As far as a stranger with his own moral/political/religious motivations for striking your child, I'm sure you don't think that sort of discipline is justified unless the teacher was EXACTLY LIKE YOU.
