You know what? Its a dangerous fukking world and fukked up shit happens. Your kids might get killed, its highly unlikely, but it just might happen.

Put the amount of terrorism America deals in perspective with the rest of the world. We don't have to deal with shit and we should consider ourselves lucky for it and go on with life when it happens. What we shouldn't do is sacrifice everything that makes us such a great place with foolish overzealous reaction to unfounded and unjustifiable fear.

I know, I am doing exactly what they want (living in fear of something). If all I had to think about was myself, then it would be a different story but my child actually means a lot to me. Go figure, a parent who cares.

Maybe we even gave him some of the chemical weapons he used against the Kurds in Iraq. One of the events we now point to as proof of how evil he was.

I do know very little about all the events that lead to this small war. I don't see how naming who was in the picture made you think I actually thought I knew everything about the middle east.

i dont know that i have an opinion either way of whether we should stay or not. i do believe that if we just pull out, leave right now that other than killing saddam our time would be wasted. it would be nice if one day we could look back, see iraq as a free country like ours and say hey, our government helped that happen.

will that happen, probably not. but on the other hand history has shown that most major empires that sat back and enjoyed being great thinking they were the shit and no one could touch them eventually got over thrown by someone....maybe if we arent a little proactive at times and take over countries that may pose a threat we could be next.....

anyone ever think that this whole iraq thing was just to get land next to iran, anticipating the war we are probably going to have with them? i mean i know the iranian leader is in the US meeting with us an everything but i mean they are supplying iraq with weapons to kill us and were on the news just a couple months ago saying when they do make their nukes they are going to blow us off the map........
