will that happen, probably not. but on the other hand history has shown that most major empires that sat back and enjoyed being great thinking they were the shit and no one could touch them eventually got over thrown by someone....maybe if we arent a little proactive at times and take over countries that may pose a threat we could be next.....

You should check the history books for empires that got too big for their britches and overextended themselves until they collapsed.

i never was a history buff, i just remember reading alot about the underdog winning alot in history class.. just always seemed the big bad empire got overthrown by the little guy alot.

i just hope that before any of that happens to the US that i am long gone....didnt like spanish class all that well lol

well thats kind of the point i was trying to make. i always hear people saying we should just mind our own business and keep to our own country. if we sit back and do that what makes people think that other countries wont conspire together and try and take us over.....

he said that he basically day in day out just passed out pamphlets to the local children trying to explain why we were there and gaining their trust. just trying to tell them we are there to help and not harm them. oddly enough works in communications for the army...i told him i blamed him for the poor communications in the military...lol
