Check out the 2007 dependability ratings from JD Power. Toyota isnt as high as you would think. Buick tied lexus with a perfect score. There are a few domestic names in there pretty high.

Prisoners at one local jail get a new TV, and an extra eyeful... of ****, thanks to one cable-savvy criminal.

Now, the administration is making sure the programs seen in the jail are rated PG.

Inmates are supposed to be able to tune in to the first 21 channels on the jail's community room TV. Turns out it they were getting some X-rated extras in Chippewa County.

Jailers say some inmates have a lot of time on their hands and trouble on their minds.

"When you've got 24 hours a day, seven days a week to do nothing better than to figure out how to beat the system, a lot of things get found out," says Chippewa County Jail Captain Jim Jerabek.

Things like how to tap into the jail's new digital TV for some free ****.

"They were getting into the upper tiers of the cable system. The signal is generated to a whole block at a time. That's as many as 500 people and that signal is out there and available even for non-subscribers,” Jerabek says.

And for a while he says that signal led to a cable free-for-all in Chippewa County.

"They just played with the remote long enough until they cracked the code to get into the TV and program it so it would scan the channels until they found something they liked," Jerebek says.

Until one inmate on the way out shared his cell mates' secret and the TV instantly went black.

"It's interesting because when we turn the TV off for disciplinary reasons, they always beg to get it back on,” Jerabek says. “But, nobody's said a word. They know they've been had."

He says now the only thing these prisoners will be watching is basic cable. That’s because the cable company was in the jail Thursday putting a filter on the TV to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again.

I'm not sure i want **** in prison.

If i was locked up I'm sure that watching **** all all day would help pass the time, but i don't think i would want the rest of the prisoners horny from watching **** all day.

It's hard to tell if this would increase or decrease prison ****.

I think so. They build small crafts and whatnot and sell them. I think it's a pretty fair deal if they paid for the equipment and all.
