Its a shame Sony stopped making the 20GB model before they dropped the price.

I bet they were at first, due to it using a Blu Ray drive.

But like everything else electronic, as the chips and mechanical components are used in greater quantities by more manufacturers the prices can be reduced while making a greater profit (or less of a loss).
