I am sure that more than one pilot has considered doing just that.
Platestacker + Twisted = Plenty of reason to worry about the quality of recruits in the USAF.

Name one single military conflict that the US has been involved in since the inception of the Air Force as its own branch of service rather than an offshoot of the Army that we could have won without the air support involved.
If you can do that with any degree of honesty or realism then you can call the flyboys pussies.

And no - I am not in the Air Force and nobody in my family is either. I couldn't be in the military if I wanted to be....even if they reinstate the draft I'll be the last mofo they call so don't think it's a fanboi-type of motivation for this post.

Prowler, even a fair number of my co-workers who were in the Air Force for decades admit they the Air Force by far was the easiest compared to the Marines, Navy, ect............

I am a productive member of society, i pay my taxes and signed up for the selective service even after getting NO financial aid for school. That should be enough. I am not on the streets and have a real career.

Prowler, there is no doubt that the pilots in the UASF are top notch. Same with the direct support of combat missions. However, there is also no doubt that compared with other branches of the Armed Services the USAF lives a pretty cushioned lifestyle.

Prowler, there is no doubt that the pilots in the UASF are top notch. Same with the direct support of combat missions. However, there is also no doubt that compared with other branches of the Armed Services the USAF lives a pretty cushioned lifestyle.

Perhaps - but I grew up an Army brat (Dad was USArmy Reserves for 30+ years....did 3 tours of 'Nam....) so I'm an Army fan, naturally.

Aside from that, however, I live less than a 10 minute drive from the 8th Air Force HQ....where almost 2/3 of the B52s currently in commisioned service call home.

As the B52 is on my list of Top 3 all-time favorite aircraft and most of the ones currently in service in the USAF are not far at all from me ~ I'm a bit of a fan of teh AF as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

kinda funny how you guys see this stuff that I read about months ago on my 'conspiracy theory' websites that are 'full of complete bullshit'. Then it goes a few months down the road to a 'credible' news site and now its so beleivable. This countrys people just get dumber and are afraid to admit that people in power are running this country into the ground. Bush has been pushing (well pushed by others since he is a complete idiot) for the country to be under a police state since he has been in office. Meaning no more government as we know it. The Federal gvt will be in charge of the country and basically all police forces. If you cant see this happening right before your eyes then you are just ignorant and too scared to admit it. Why the **** do you think he doesnt want the documents released? If they were of no value then he wouldnt care and release them to shut people up. Oh and dont be surprised if another 911 type event occours before Bush is done in office.
