I am sure that more than one pilot has considered doing just that.

Name one single military conflict that the US has been involved in since the inception of the Air Force as its own branch of service rather than an offshoot of the Army that we could have won without the air support involved.

If you can do that with any degree of honesty or realism then you can call the flyboys pussies.

Until then? Stfu....

And no - I am not in the Air Force and nobody in my family is either. I couldn't be in the military if I wanted to be....even if they reinstate the draft I'll be the last mofo they call so don't think it's a fanboi-type of motivation for this post.

On July 30, 2003, the Air Force Chief of Staff announced that the Air Force would make the annual fitness test tougher, beginning in January 2004. Going along with this new concept, Air Force basic Training toughened up its fitness standards, effective in October 2003.

now we get warrior weeks for simulated deployments, much expanded weapons training, and BT is basically a copy of army's BT , you know, because the air force did derive from the army

the days of riding on a bicycle with a heart moniter for fitness test's was over in 2001... and AF combat troops train right besides army/marines @ fort bragg

its a suprise how civilians make fun of air force, like they have accomplished something that would put the AF to shame, when my best buds are army guys and have nothing but respect for the AF

Prowler, there is no doubt that the pilots in the UASF are top notch. Same with the direct support of combat missions. However, there is also no doubt that compared with other branches of the Armed Services the USAF lives a pretty cushioned lifestyle.
