The truth is that ALL Americans support the troops, but NOT that sorry excuse for a president. Contrary to popular propaganda, you can disagree with the moron in the oval office and still support our troops. My duty as an American citizen is to question every decision made by our gov't. That is why we vote. They have to be held accountable, not given free reigns on the military. But that genocidal, warmongering idiot has used our emotions after 9/11 and lied and lied and lied some more to get approval to go to Iraq and cause the deaths of thousands of troops and tens of thousands of Iraqi people. He can't be allowed to make any more decisions in the middle east. He's done enough already to make the rest of the world hate the US. He has to be stopped.

Yes, they do. The reason being that most people take what is going on in the world today very personal. Therefore when they get heated about the topic of discussion their tempers get lost and you have some personal attacks. No way you're going to have a political discussion without it I'm afraid. Not when you have our country so divided as we are today.

I mean I understand being you love your country and I dont know much about Jebus if he is active or what not, but personally he needs to chill out. Bush fell down on the job but the asshat republicans and democrats on the extremes are the ones that really f'd up our militaries response by making this a political war, governed and policies by politicians rather than the military and Bush allowed it. This is another Vietnam regarding the management of the military.

What I am tired of is watching our country try to act as Police/Banker to the asshat countries that f'ing hate us. We give our money away to countries that hate us. We send our people to countries to help them establish a democtratic, more or less hehehe, society and they hate and kill them. We give tons of money to the UN and they treat us like we are pariahs. F em all. Time to turn our focus in and rebuild our country. It is also time for those of us that watch this happen and say nothing to stand and speak up...send emails to your elected officials, regardless of your view, vote...do not let the loud minority of either side run things as they do now.

If the Iranians do not stand up against the religious fanatics running their country...OH F'ing Well that is their issue. If the Iraqies are now settling their ages old disputes that is their business not ours. What I am enjoying is watching France crumble under the weight of the Islamic extremists that are giving their authorities so much grief...they are getting what they deserve. Same goes for most of Europe that has their head in the sand.

If this is the start of WW III it will not be the end of life. We are good at surviving and will though life will be different.

I have lost all faith in our current form of government. Our elected officials are more interested in enriching themselves and their parties while while ignoring the needs of our country and people. There's a difference between not wanting to fight for your country, and not wanting to fight because you don't believe in the ideals behind the conflict. World relations for us are at an all time low. No one likes us, let alone the people we're fighting. There is no exit strategy for Iraq because you cannot fight an enemy who isn't afraid to be killed. More will keep spawning and will continue the threat. We will have a three front war now. We just don't have the power to do that efficientl. I strongly believe that Bush thinks he's out on the playground in 3rd grade playing War with other kids; throwing rocks and sticks at everyone else and thinks that real life is just the same.

i had a friend that was a marine for 9 years, when he was done he became an investigative reporter, the kinda guy who would get into serious situations to discover / report the truth. he told me he was so ashamed of himself for being willing to die for his country (he went to war for england twice) for the years he was in the marines, because what he knows to be true now as a result of him being involved in the investigative reporting industry(where the truth is known but edited out often), makes all his feelings of loyalty for his country wasted because he KNOWS people higher up are only concerned with their own profit, and they actually are happy to sacrifice their nations population to secure their personal wealth.
