Well good luck with it. I really think it will change...most colleges are pretty understanding if the situation is explained. It's just hard when a computer program does it all by numbers without consideration for some factors.

It's not about determination, it's genetic when things like that happen...plain and simple. High school exists for the sole purpose of preparing you for college. Most kids are ~18 when they graduate high school, and something like 50-75% are actually READY for college at that point. Don't get the "it's possible" bullshit answer. Faulkton's point is that when he was in high school, he failed a few college courses, possibly because he wasn't ready....and that shouldn't affect his aid now that he is ready - which has been demonstrated by his 4.0 GPA in his frist real year of college.
P.S. I'm 19 and a senior in college with a 4.0, majoring in chemistry...so I have the room to speak of advanced minds, where as I'll bet you don't...so shut up.

You told him that he was stupid and that young kids could succeed in college, that it was all his fault he didn't while he was in high school. Question for you...are you in college? Have you taken any college courses? How much time do you spend calling people stupid, when you've not tried what they have educationally? ***.

once again, i am the only one in college attitude. yes i am enrolled in college, and yes i do plan on graduate school.

as for his problem, he said how many 16 year old are ready for college. i said it was ll about determination. i never said he was stupid or anything to that effect. so stfu.
