according to their policy here any class dropped after the first day (a W on transcripts) counts toward the 67%. Thats whats screwing me. The fcked thing is there is no way in hell i could have gotten my cumulative attempted above 67% in only one year.. just impossible...It's FAFSA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
On a serious note though, that sucks man, I hope it works itself out. From my experience though, it doesn't count as an attempted class if you drop before the date when a grade must be reported (ie at MSU we can drop without a grade until half way through the semester, if you drop before that it doesn't count as "attempting" the class)...so that should help you out a bit it sounds like.
The other thing is that its just a school policy.. i still have money according to fafsa site and the EAC site..
There is a small catholic school (i went to catholic k-8) i could transfer.. they were ready to let me in last semester but it was more expensive, so i stayed with the state school.
i still think its a bish *** policy.. to punish someone for something that happened almost ten years ago, in another state, not connected with financial aid in any way...AFTER they have gone to school for a year and got straight A's. They should just reinstate it when i call them tomorrow.. if not fck'em...their bureaucratic BS wont stop me from getting a degree.. I also like how i only find out about it two weeks before summer session starts..
