Thats a good buy. If you actually need it I definitely say go for it. If you just want it than only you can justify the purchase.

Lowe's cleared them off the shelf because of their unreliability

I just bought the 18v version for 349, i don't know if i really need 36v...So if you really really want 36v, then go for it, for sure..

I decided not to buy it. I was very tempted, but i already have the 18V set (in addition to a 14.4 drill) and didn't really need them.

On a side note my mom accepted a job heading a state agency here in south dakota, and the state paid to move her here. Consequently they paid to move all of my stuff that she was storing with her in Seattle and i now have all of my tools again. It was like Christmas morning.

Some of the stuff she brought includes:

senco and dewalt framing nailers and dewalt finish nailer

porter cable air compressor

porter cable orbital sander

craftsman roll around (top and bottom) filled with craftsman hand tools

dewalt double compound miter saw

Bosch SKS roto hammer

Bosch jig saw

rotozip

two corded dremels and a li-ion cordless dremel

craftsman laser guided circular saw

craftsman worm drive circular saw.
