Also a APBT owner here. One of the best dogs IFyou train them and take good care of them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

Also on the feeding part, I guess it depends on what you feed them. You can get a 50# bag of generic dog food for 10 bucks, or you can go the with better food(Nutro, Eukanuba, Nutro Ultra, Blue, etc.) and end up paying 40-50 for a 35-40# bag of food.

BUT, of course if you want a healthy dog, I don't think you'll want to feed some cheap food, and 4-5 years later your dog has bone/joint problems.

They do eat less of the good food so the difference between the prices is reduced. Also, equals less dogshit.

I have no idea how to take care of an animal.
What do you do with it during the day while you are at work?
as faulkton mentioned crate training or if u have a yard and plenty of stuff in the yard for the dog to entertain itself with put it outside durring the day.

When they were young i always crated them when i left the house, but you cant leave for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
Once they were old enough to be left out without destroying stuff, i just let them run around the house.

Crate training is a great way to house break a dog. People who dont realize dogs are den animals might think its mean, but its not. My dogs like their crates and actually still choose sleep/lay in them.
i dont trust my puppy to leave her inside alone yet. she's still a puppy and likes to destroy stuff. already caught her trying to chew on my coffee table

I need something that can stay alone for 10 hours....
Maybe I should get a plant.
plant, or a cat(they are evil animals tho)

arent great danes expensive as **** to feed?
not too bad. i used to spend 25.00 every week on a 55lb bag of purina one for them. but i had 4 dogs at the time.

big dogs eat a lot.

I still want a small dog though. A small dog that doesn't make much noise.
small dogs tend to make more noise than large ones in my experience

My Shetland Sheepdog has stayed home alone for 10+ hours. Seems to have the best temperment of any dog I have every seen. Is not aggressive in anyway and won't jump on anyone or destroy anything. Just likes to heard people around the house lol.

Pups look great. Pitbulls are just not my thing but I like the good training advice. And Daaayum those danes ar big lol. The few I have seen in person aren't dogs anymore, those things are mini horses lol.

I am poor but still wanted a crt HDTV. I couldn't spend what it cost for a LCD that can do SD well, and i dont really need a giant screen.

I found this one listed on slick deals

http://www.amazon.com/HD30W854T-Diagonal-RCA-TruFlat-Stereo/dp/B000PYC5YU/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/?tag=slickdeals&ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1185478454&sr=8-1

But it was listed for $298 shipped for about 8 hours.. i just noticed they raised the price two hundred bucks.

You think i will get the TV for the cheap price? I hope so, even if it isnt the nicest HDTV in teh world.
