But that doesn't make taking part in an economic system voluntary. That was one example of how it is, but without, in some way, taking part in an economic system, how would one get ahold of things they were otherwise incapable of obtaining? I sure as hell know I can't hunt, build, cook, tailor, or farm in a way that would support my life. Therefore, I must take part in some sort of economic system to obtain the staples of life.
you could not even have land to build, hunt, cook, tailor and farm on without participating in the economic system.

Yes. Specialization is a key.

How people choose to allocate resources is quite another.

I see far too many people not choose to allocate their resouces in the most effective manner

In modern society, right. Even without the constraints of modern societal norms, though, I doubt I could be the jack-of-all-trades that I would required to be without an economy.

In self-sufficient farming in a land without taxes and other people, then an economy is not required.

But even the person who allocates their resources in the most effective way depends on an economic system. Living requires you to take part in an economic system of some sort. Therefore, by definition, it's not optional or voluntary. It's a requirement for life.

The slavery to that system is voluntary.

For instance, you could choose to not participate by being homeless and nomadic.

I don't understand why people are not more willing to give Faulkton's ideas a chance. In this case, for example, there are lots of poor people. We could kill some and if it works out then great. If not, we could always stop.

BTW, for those of you who believe in survival of the fittest, have you given any thought as to how human "morality" and "compassion" have altered the natural order of things? In other words, we know that poor people are making out like bandits by having more and more kids to be supported by our tax dollars while the uber class is having fewer children. Perhaps you need to give this some thought before you dismiss Faulkton's solution.

I have 4 words for everyone who has typed in this thread.

WHO GIVES A FUСK!!

Just my opinion, your reasoning on why the poor should be killed sucks. You explain a bunch of facts (and probably accurate) but you provide NO reasoning/proof why the poor should be killed.
