If they were the same entities, they would be the same thing. For the sake of legality, it is worth comparing inhibitors against their respective legal status'.
Although I agree that marijuana is very different than alcohol (read: better), it is a fine example of something potentially "dangerous" but still legalized.
If people really want changes, they need to quit being so lazy. Getting high and sitting in your house all day does nothing to help. You need to get in contact with all relevant political candidates in your electoral district, and you need to keep marijuana use in the public eye in a positive fashion. The best thing you can do for legalization is have an intelligent conversation about it with as many other people as you can.
