I was talking about prior to me pointing all that out.
Your point was that Bush didn't control gas prices, which i pointed out his policies had great impact on.

Then you tried to displace the blame and say he wasn't the only one making decisions, to which i responded that under our system of government policy is dictated from the top down. Remember the Hitler example?

Then you once again tried to ignore the 6 years of GOP control of congress and focus on the less than 2 years of effete leadership by the democrats.

Pretty much you when you realized i was completely correct you tried to pretend those were the points you had been trying to make.

Maybe people like fatryan are too stupid to see it, but at least some of us can see through it and see how i pwned you. They are the only ones i care about.

If you need more help understand how and why i won, please reread...multiple times if necessary.

Your inability to come to terms with your own failure here is laughable. Once again. My point has been throughout that there is not sole responsibility on the president for the current circumstances of our country. If you can't see that then you fail harder than I originally thought.

Its apparant in your state of denial that you will not reread the thread, so what can I do but repaste some of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I will give you an A for effort and tenacity though.

Do you not think regional instability has anything to do with gas prices?
Do you not think that the weakened dollar has nothing to do with the price of a barrel of oil?

What impact does the billions of dollars the war is costing have on the price of the dollar on the world market?

I'm not saying Bush has a magic 'increase the price of gas' button on his desk but to claim none of his policies have impacted the price of gas and weakened the dollar is seems more than a little foolish to me.
Its foolish to think that one man runs the country is the point i'm making. It takes a whole lot more than just one man to make the decisions that have led to the above.

Not saying that one man can't make a difference...just saying responsibility lies in more than just the head office.

yeah ok.. well thats like saying that Hitler doesn't bear sole responsibility for the holocaust.
I mean he did have some henchmen.

Its a pretty poor argument designed to displace blame and ignore the obvious, that it wouldn't have happened except under the leadership from the top.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif its a top down system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
its human nature to follow and thats exactly what congress, both parties, did.
Which is a failure in my book...
I guess talk is cheap but this didn't sound like following:

Guess that politics for you though, big talk, little action.
This administration has been a political force like no other in recent history. The skills demonstrated in achieving its goals and aims were truly marvelous. I am honestly in awe of the administrations political ability.
Its just a lot of the policies that trouble me.
Thanks for demonstrating my point. Who eventually won that battle, just like every other battle?
The administration.

Political genius, policy fool.
The administration fukked up, and you want to displace the blame by saying 'well the other party didn't stop him so they're just as bad'... its a very poor argument.
He has to take blame for his actions, just like the cowed congress has to take responsibility for theirs. The two are not mutually exclusive and placing blame with one doesn't absolve the other from their part in the massive failures of the last 8 years.
kthanks for letting me pwn you real quick.
I'm off for a little while.

You just summed up the point I was making. Both have to take responsibility for their actions. While we are all happy its firing time for the president, lets not forget about firing our Senators/Reps when their seat comes up if we don't agree with their policy stances or actions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

haha, nothing pwnd...you just made my point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Comparing Hitler and the holocaust to Bush and gas prices...great base for an argument //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif But since you brought it up...

If you disagree with where we sit today, everybody in our government who took part in getting us where we are should be held accountable. Going back to your Hitler example...much like the Nuremberg trials held people accountable, not just Hitler, so should we with our government.

Top down does not escape those further down from responsibility.

That was a good try though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif At some point you might decide to see the logic and the light in these strings of posts...until then I guess there isn't much I can do to help you.

I was surprised you didn't call me out on the Hitler hyperbole sooner, but none the less thanks again for making my point.

I mentioned MANY times that both parties in congress failed miserably.

I believe i used adjectives like effete and cowed to describe the democratic controlled congress.

You have yet to admit Bush has any responsibility for the drastic increase in the price of gasoline.

We can go round and round as long as you like, but its all right there for anyone to see what i have done to you.

Are you fat? It has been my experience that fat people cant manage to admit defeat when they should.

Plus, everyone knows fat people are stupid liars and can't be trusted.

No need to keep going round and round, I've gotten what I wanted so I'm done, and I didn't even need big red type to make it happen.

ps....not really fat, more of a skinny fat. Skinny arms and legs with a beer gut so not sure where that puts me on the big fat liar scale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
