Macs are more expensive, no more functional than pc's, are less compatible with pretty much everything...

... yet a good portion of people who own them instantly turn into douches because they go and talk about how awesome their computer is... and no one gives a fuck

all i really do is take notes in school make keynote presentations and make movies and CDs. I like keynote more than power point and toast titanium more than Nero. I also enjoy visual hub which allows me to encode movies to formats way quicker than it used to take me in my PC days.

My Mac only cost me $950 with the student discount. I never insult PC because theres nothing wrong with PC. I wanted to try a Mac i tried it and liked it. My desktop is a PC. I don't like Windows so I run Linux. Only thing i need to be compatiable with mac is processing documents and they are. What else would I really need to be compatiable with Apple?

That doesn't make me a douche bag. I haven't said anything bad about you or PC. Microsoft is just as bad of a company as Apple. The only thing you can do is pick a side. I like Tiger and Leopard so I got a mac. But when I did have a faulty harddrive when i first got my computer Apple did DHL air mail me a box to ship my computer in and I sent it to them and the whole processs took a total of 3 days and I didn't have to pay a dime and I didn't even buy the apple care plan. They even replaced my heatsink and other componets that had shown some wear while they had it cracked open.

I enjoy OSX more than Windows. To me that makes the purchase worth it.
