did the amps say the produced the same power or did you do the test at 1 specific volume level on your hu that you knew had the same output from each amp, dmm tested? Things that are louder ALWAYS sound better.

It was all done on a bench with both amps set using a DMM to within .1v of each other.

JL Audio makes an awesome amp. But for the money, THERE ARE BETTER PRODUCTS. Tru technologies and Genesis. About the same price as JL, but rated the best 2 amps in car audio. Next to anything else though, JL is a great amp.
