Why do you need 2 fuses inbetween batteries?

That phoenix gold distribution block is fused as close to the batteries as it can be. I mean it's fused 2 times as close as possible between the batteries.

I'm not an idiot.

The case everyone makes for fusing inbetween batteries is that "installation error can cause a fire" a guy mentioned that if you got into an accident that it is completely out of your control, and that too can cause a fire. I never thought about that aspect of it. That is the best argument to make.

After that I was trying to find a cheaper alternative to using 2 fuses, and 2 distrobution blocks.

Chase kept commenting on something he clearly wasn't reading, and still his last comment doesn't make sense in the context of the conversation.

Someone probably already said this but as read > me, it's not about the wire falling out of a terminal or something, it's about a wire getting ripped or the metal getting exposed and making contact with the frame.
