Yep.My cousin is running a single 12" Xplod in his Dodge Ram extended cab. At first I gave him hell for purchasing it, but then I told him to try an enclosure that was 2.5 cubic feet tuned to 30 Hz. Now, no one believes he is running a Sony sub until he shows them.
If one is looking for the magical 150 dB TermLab score with a single subwoofer, a Sony Xplod is the wrong choice. If one wants decent sound that can be had for cheap, the Xplod will work, provided it is installed in an enclosure matched to the vehicle it is installed in.
