Question about bridging Sony XM-GTR6001 2 channel amp with 1 SVC SUB

So Sony manuals FAQ’s, and knowledge base’s say that to bridge a 2 channel amp for 1 single SVC sub,is to just use the + and - from one channel..
I have always thought that you take + from channel 1 and - from channel 2 Can anyone confirm the right way
I also wanna know if anyone has heard about
Sub positive to channel 1 positive Sub negative to channel 2 negative And then connect channel 1 negative to channel 2 negative

It's a mono amp so you don't have to worry about it being bridged.

It's not really a 2ch amp. It's a mono amp that has two outputs. The outputs are already bridged inside the amp. You will only need to use one output.

Where’d you get your ideas? Mono means 1 speaker. It could be 2 speakers in parallel. But counted as one speaker. Smaller ohms.
