so i was taking out my kenwood KFC-W3011 out of its enclosure to put in new sub, and i caught a pungent whiff of what could only be described as... burning.
A few times i pushed it to its limit (cranked my 400 watt amp up almost all the way) and noticed a bad noise coming from the sub. I knew it couldn't have been good, but i was greedy and wanted the DBs at the time being. I assumed it was something mechanical, as when I turned it down i couldn't hear it anymore.
The sub still technically works, so i'm curious as to what the fire smell is. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rage.gif.0ad8a6e5565b5fddce406566fdd05149.gif
