Why do most of you guys drive cars?

For one, where I'm from, guys drive trucks and girls drive cars. Simple as that. Maybe it's different everywhere else, but that's how the south does it. Trucks or big SUV's.

Secondly, with a car you have to deal with more bad vibration problems. Trunks will ALWAYS rattle, while on the other hand an SUV or truck will rattle much less.

I'm just curious. Not bashing anyone with a car, just wondering why you chose them. If you had no choice (first car, no money, etc.), that's cool. But if I had a choice, it wouldn't be a car.

I drive a truck cause I have an ATV. If I didnt have it I would have an SUV, 300zx, or a BMW M3.

Why wouldn't you drive a car? As far as vibration goes, some good ol' sound deadning will take care of that.

Hardly anyone drives SUVs up here. Most people realized they don't freaking use the extra cargo space and that you can sit more people in a Cadillac Sedan than in a Ford Explorer. Gas is quite pricey round here too.

I like my car.

i drive a truck, but it rides like a car. My main reasons are:

1 going offroading

2 Hualing my friend's/family's crap

My only complaint is there's minimal room for audio gear

I'm from the south, and drive a truck...but its lowered on 18s, so that doesn't count, huh?

Why do you people talk slow and have a high illiteracy rate?....
Ask God, sometimes being slow and direct while talking is just better than the loud fast talking us norther people use. Makes us hard to understand, you know?

Anyway, I drive a car because I like my car. It's a 1992 Ford Taurus. It's not a matter of masculinity or anything like you make it out to be. I just like that it gets good gas milage, won't crumple in a wreck, and doesn't scream "Look at me! I have an expensive stereo you can steal!" any more than the other 10 of them in a random parking lot. =p
