Why do most of you guys drive cars?

I drive a full-size van because...

1.) Buying it off my parents was hell of a lot cheaper than buying something used elsewhere.

2.) Never having to worry about sub enclosure size. Ever. Actually, I've never had to worry about fitting anything in...'fridges, couches, mattresses, six, eight, ten of my friends, 10 foot pieces of pipe, Christmas trees, a riding lawn mower...

3.) Full size air bed > any car's backseat. 'Nuff said.

4.) It's solid metal, unlike most cars these days. Provides an excellent RF ground for my radio gear. Also, if I ever get into a wreck with it, those real metal bumpers are going to be worth it...

The next vehicle I get will most likely be a smaller truck - just for the utility of it, and to get something I could drive out on the beach with. Preferably something diesel, so I could make my own fuel and not have to worry about silly gas prices //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For one, where I'm from, guys drive trucks and girls drive cars. Simple as that. Maybe it's different everywhere else, but that's how the south does it. Trucks or big SUV's.
Well.....I just thank god (figuratively) that the entire country doesn't do what "the south does" in every aspect of life //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Trunks will ALWAYS rattle, while on the other hand an SUV or truck will rattle much less.
That's funny; my car suffered from zero "trunk rattle" without any sound deadening.

But if I had a choice, it wouldn't be a car.
Good for you. Some guys like to sleep with other guys; why aren't you? Oh....it's that whole not everybody is the same thing. Screw individuality; conformism rules!!

I drive a car because I have a family to tug around, fuel efficiency, etc etc.

I drive a truck. I love it. The only thing I could really say I don't like is the fuel efficiency, but when you are 16 with no bills to pay and your parents bought it for you, how can you complain? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Of course, it's still perfectly acceptable to be a guy and drive a small car. The same holds true for girls driving trucks. There's nothing wrong with it. Nobody's going to treat you any different or even think anything of it. The simple fact of the matter is, most guys I know just prefer trucks. Nothing wrong with that, right?

and some of us actually think about fuel economy
Hehe me2 that's why when I got a truck I got a 2.7 liter 4cyl tacoma. Highly reliable with 22 mpg city //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I only use my truck to haul things in the bed. I don't have any toys that need to be pulled(boat, jet ski etc.) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I had no choice. I was forced to buy a car. Parents bought it for me and I am actually happy with their choice. So happy, I even offered them money to pay them back.

But I really want a truck when I get older and actually need one. I love trucks. For SUV's, if I get rich then I'm getting a big SUV with all the luxury features and that crap.
