Why do most of you guys drive cars?

I drive a car because I like them!! I want to own a truck but that will only be to pull my boat/wheelers/dirt bikes and such!! Other than that im all about sport cars! Especially the new Roush mustang I saw on Horsepower TV today! There also happens to be one of them rolling around Vail, its painted like a shelby though!!

I am surprised none of the faigs have said because riding your sister/mother has gotten boring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

T

I own a 2000 Dodge Avenger ES for everyday transportation, have a MB ML suv that my wife drives, own a Mark VIII for the sound system, and at the lake home, a King Ranch 4x4 Supercrew F150 to pull the boat.

I guess I fit into all the categories. Oh and I am selling my '02 Honda VFR800 sportbike so that takes care of the motorcycle duties.

any questions?

i average ~37 MPG in my 95 geo prizm...

i bet you avg ~12-15 MPG in ur trucks

i can go 3x further on one gallon, probably faster too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

also, equipment is all hidden from plain sight, minus headunit. simple as that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

and did i forget to mention chicks dig 95 geo prizms? atleast chicks with teeth...

I have no need for a big truck, nothing to haul, nothing to pull, and plus people don't ask for rides nearly as much when your car is small...

And i like knowing that there isn't much on the road that can touch me....

pfft i dont know wut kinda pansy *** trucks u been see'en but real trucks get 7-8mpg baby //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Hats off to you, bacon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif What color is yours? (My Prizm is a '95, too) Glad I'm not the only one who sees the utilitarian value of driving something that's pretty much bulletproof, mechanically. Toyota powertrain = almost unstoppable provided you keep up with simple preventative maintenance. 167K+ on the ticker and I still get better than 30mpg running the A/C //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I drive a car instead of a truck 'cause:

I have a family

Insurance is cheaper

Fuel is cheaper

A thief would have to do more than just open a single door to have access to my entire system

etc, etc, etc

People don't ask for rides when you only have two seats //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

unless they want to ride troop-transport style in the back...
