yea to be honest im not impressed with his setup@ all i personally think it should be moving way more air than thatespecially ported . i know people with wayyyyyyy less cone area and power non Walled pull better hairtricks than that. but who am i to talk. right now he's WAYYY louder than me so i still give him respect for that. other than that i totally think somethings very wrong within his wall itself. but it looks good/sounds good and if he is satistfied thats all that matter!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

my old set up i just sold a few weeks ago hit 148.7 not too bad for 3 10's with an RAA1000 mb quart(1000x1@1ohm, i had it at 1.333 so not sure what wattage exactly i was gettin but the amp was under rated saying 1000 but had 3 40 amp fuses so i would assume more like 1200 @1ohm)

yea i think we pretty much talked about it before, and u right thats the only thing i can come up with too. smaller cabin with an shorter clam it all makes sense. just like an port the larger the port the lower the velocity is, that being said an larger port wont have the same effect like an smaller port with more velocity. more velocity the faster air will move therefore it being much more forceful! faster air move the farther the air can travel. so its the same thing with the clamshell i think. smaller/tighter the clam is the more forceful the air can be. u couple small cabin with an tight/small clamshell u gets an Air mover.

ive personally witnessed the port example myself.

had 2 15" Memphis M3's in an very small box with like 60sqin of port area, and it moved WAYYYYYYYY more air than my 4 15" Kicker L5's i had with 300sqin of port area. and i had WAY more power with the kickers too. way more cone area and power but less air movement. made an smaller port and GD what an difference it made!

might not be the loudest but for 3 10's thats not bad at all considering i had almost no floor boards at that time to hold in the pressure!
