Who's system first made you want to get into car audio

I think since then I have spent more $$$$ on car audio than that **** Lambo is worth...LOL

Me getting ripped of my quality autosound for a system got me interested. ($1200 I dropped)

2 12" Rockford Fosgate p2's (pretty much when these models just came in) and a xplod 1200 watt amp with their definition of a custom box. (prefab) wires and a sony xplod mp3 player all installed

I was the loudest kid at my school, sure but if I got interested in this before I got ripped, $1200 would have landed me something sick

the first time i ever heard bass was about 5 years ago (I was about 12). My cousin had 2 12" RF punch subs and a 600 watt amp. It was a regular cab pickup with the subs right behind the seat. I thought it was so insane. Then once my brother got his car about 3 years ago, and got a system, i've wanted one ever since. I got my first system last year. And now my current one is the loudest i've ever heard. lol

Yeah man i have seen it many times back in the day,people go drop 1200 to 2000$ on some sh!t the shop suggest,and it ends up sounding like sh!t,knowledge is the key.

The closest system was a guy with a jbl 15" in a stratus running like 300 watts to it

Back in 03, I walked into a store. Had some money and wanted to spend it on something. Picked up all Alpine gear. CDA-9833, 2 12" Type R's D2, 2 MRD-M501, forgot what model the 6.5 comps were but were the Type R, and a 2 channel amp. Don't remember the model. Also picked up a box too. Sealed. Never knew nothing about car audio. The guy picked it out for me. He wanted to install it. I told him I would. Next day I installed it myself and drove by to show him I installed it. Thats how I got into it.

friend had 2 12'' type r's with some crappy kenwood amp. Though that was insanely loud.

what made me get into audio, this was back in 2000 i was 14, this guy used to ride by my house all the time, and would literally shake the who GD house!! my house would start vibrating before he was even near thats how i knew it was him. at that time ive never ever heard anything play that low loud! i actually watched the glass on our old coffe table vibrate when he rode pass the house. you could feel the **** floors vibrating. i finally ended up stoping him one day as was like man wtf do you have in there. 1996 ford explorer 4 dr with 3 Audiopipe TXX-DC1200's and MTX 6500D. anyway i ended up buying the system from Him @ 14 years old lol i couldnt even drive but i knew i wanted taht shit! ended up selling me all 3 subs and box for 150$ ended up putting them in my tahoe with an MA audio HC1302, about 3 months later it wasnt loud to me anymore. and thats when i built my FIRST! ported box!! and i was SHOCKED to hell with the output difference! so every since 2000 ive been going ape$hit with installs
