Sorry, you don't understand what resolution is, as it applies to audio?

As in recording in a higher resolution ? i.e. 44 khz at 16bit vs 96khz at 24bit? What would indicate one amplifier having better resolution than another? Just trying to figure out where your coming from. In my mind any amplifier should do just that, amplify the signal it's fed. Nothing more nothing less. My bad; I should have explained.

Resolution is the ability to distinguish between multiple melodic lines, individual instruments, and (recorded) spacial relationtionships comprising a large performance. Instead of big blob of sound, one hears each each aural voice (if you will) as a specific entity. Resolution is also intertwined with the transparency and focus of a system.

What is the criteria for a sq amp?

So to say, what exactly makes an amp sq? Dampening, efficiency, sn ratio, slew rate?

I've wondered about this for awhile.
