Who has Visited VMI?

I drove through part of the campus when I went to a concert @ W&L...walked a little around Lexington beforehand. Cool little town.

I'd be definitely certain of your motivation for going to a school like VMI (or any of the academies, for that matter).

Been there...seen that....wished I would have gone(instead of enlisting)
You'd have been interesting in college //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Interesting place, that is steeped VERY deeply in traditions. IF you want a structured atmosphere, in a small town. It's probably right up your ally //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well coming back from VMI it is definatley a great school, im definatley going to apply and do their buisness & econ program. I stayed in the 4th year dorms (freshman) who broke-out about a month ago. The school enviroment once your not a rat is really not as bad as i thought. You have to follow certain rules and march and ect. but you have plenty of time to chill and study during the day.

What is really appealing to me is that 98% of the people who graduated had a job before they graduated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The other 2% didnt go into the job market (this is excluding people who enlisted) b/c they were traveling ect...
