Uhaul Discounts?

I will be moving (again, ugh!) soon and am looking to save some money any place I can. I have chosen Uhaul due to it being close to my house and seems to have the best rate. That and we will be moving on a Sunday and most places aren't open Sunday....so Uhaul is pretty much our only option. We will only be moving about 27 miles, so its not a long haul, but would like to have it done in one trip.

With all that being said, does anyone know of any coupons or ways to get a discount out of Uhaul? Looking at ~$100 including mileage, 24' truck rental, and fuel. We are looking to take anything and everything we can away from that price.

I have looked at Budget, Penske, and Uhaul.

the only way i know is to know someone that works there : ) they can hook you up, rented a trailer for 16 bucks with insurance lol

you have a range rover. rent a 16' trailer and avoid the fuel and mileage costs.

well if you were closer to houston id say come let my friend hook you up, i get uhaul rentals for free since he is a assistant gm.
