i have 2 rlps and i have only one in my car and its doing very well. great sq and very loud, and its not even in a decent enclosure. ill be redoing them this weekend and i hope to put both in and wang all over my old hx2's. if i were you i would just get another jl and sell that amp and get another ...it will cost you less in the long run.

How much do you think it would cost to get 2 12 rl-p's and a hifonics 1500d shipped? round numbers please

and do you think i will need to upgrade alternators if i run the above setup?

The w6v2s are nice drivers, and can perform very well in the output department, while maintaining their composure, if they are in the proper enclosure with the right power. Keep that in mind before you go spending more money that you have to. But that is just my two cents.

How many watts can be run to the 12w6v2's without hurting their performance? I know JL says 400 rms but i have heard that they are underrated a little? Anybody know?

I too have an Rl-p 15 run off an ED 9.1 and it gets **** loud for just 1 15 even in its shitty enclosure. The SQ is nice too and better than the 2 12w3v2 i had before. Soon i will build a ported box tuned low when i get some extra cash for mdf. I would say go with another W6 but u dont got the hookup for jl products like i do. got the 2 w3's for 150 brand spanking new //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

What kind of "hookup" gets you 2 12w3v2's for 150?Because i paid 315 for the ones i used to have and i thought i got a good deal...

I may have one (12 inch RL-P) going on sale soon. Its been used for literally 10 days, before than it was brand new, never seen power. Its a Dual 2 ohm, they don't make the Dual 2 ohm one anymore, all they make now is Dual 4 ohm, so mine is great if you wanna run the amp at 1 ohm. Let me know if you are interested.
