Who has owned SS RL-p (And How do you like them)

1 12RL-p D2 in a 1.75"^3 tuned to 32hz off a Directed 2400D...not good enough, wanting more output. But I'm sure another 12 will satisfy me but I just don't have the money.

Let me correct myself...Its very good at low/ medium volumes the SQ is great, when I really turn it up....it leaves me craving for somthing better...

so what, its getting 1200 watts??

omg, loyd said if i give a 12" rl-p 1000 watts it'll explode!!!

they will take 1000 watts rms daily easily i had mine off of 3 memphis pr1000d's and they loved the power . had them installed for a little over six months and competed in 3 shows during that time never had a problem...

Can the RL-P 15's hit higher notes decently, I hear that 12's are the best at hitting different frequencies well. Since the RL-P's are very good SQ subs I would guess that the 15's would be able to get some of the higher notes.

I just installed an rl-p 12 in the trunk of my 06 mustang today. 1.2 cubes sealed getting 600 watts. I didn't think one 12 in a sealed box in a trunk car would get this loud. My plans were to port it in the future but I don't think I will have to.

I will say that this sub in this box could use more than the 600 watts I'm giving it though.

I'm feeding two RL-i's (TC2+'s) ~800w in 3cubes sealed. They get **** loud and sound reasonable on SQ (have had Shiva and IDW's previously). If the RL-p is any better in SQ and can handle 1000w per sub I'd say they are well worth the money. My TC2+'s are rated for 300w each but they can handle 500w each no problem in a sealed box. I'd say I'm giving them 1100w but I have my Belle's sub gain pretty low so that the front stage/alternator can keep up....

I'd go with the RL-p if your considering it. Port it if you want SQL, seal it for SQ and give it more power in sealed than ported.

they'll take 1kw daily. i run my 12's with a crossfire vr-2000d, gains set for 1900w, and they're ported. when they were sealed i gave them 1kw each. if i really get on it they can bottom out but they never have without me trying to find the limit.

I liked mine alot and wish I did not sell it. Going to buy a new one.

I like the RL-i 8s I have they sound real nice just miss the output of the RL-p 12. I had mine ported 2.1 32hz.
