Who bought out who? old companies

-Actually lanzar was bought out by pyle...pyle, blitz audio, lanzar & legacy are the same company

-Soundstream, was bought out by power acoustik and power acoustik also owns spl, kole audio

-TC sounds/audio pulse went out of business..

-audiobahn,digital audio, alphasonic were all the same company and went out of business

-Also maxxonics has crunch audio

-Also boss audio and soundstorm are the same company

audiopipe/xxx are the same company

-MA audio/cliff designs are the same company

It is really sad every company is owned by another company now

The whole "same company" idea is WRONG.

You didn't even mention the parent company (AKA the OWNER). Pyle doesn't own anything. It is a brand.

-Soundstream, was bought out by power acoustik and power acoustik also owns spl, kole audio
Again - PA doesn't own anything. Epsilon Audio owns all 3.

-Also boss audio and soundstorm are the same company
You can add Planet Audio. Boss actually IS the parent company.

-MA audio/cliff designs are the same company
No, but they are both owned by Anaba Group Inc. Along with Visonik.

Just because a few companies/brands are owned by one parent company doesn't make them "the same".

Is a Hummer the same as a Saab?

Is a Lincoln the same as a Mazda?

It's the same principle.

Well, I dont beleive Memphis is owned by any "car audio" companies, they are owned by the Fulmer Companies, which make helmets.
Interesting -- I knew of the former Fultron name, but from what I could find The Fulmer Companies owns...

Memphis Car Audio

Fulmer Helmets

Fultron/Aria (which I don't think is a functioning company anymore)

and a couple others

ok maybe i used the wrong words ....what i am saying is the companies that are mentioned together are all part of the same corporation just like Daimler/Chrysler corporation owns, jeep, dodge is the same....but who do people think of they think of dodge most of the time....

you can even talk to the distributors most will tell you that soundstream was bought by power acoustik....why, because power acoustik is the big known line and soundstream is the one that was bought out...

everybody knows there is a "company name/corporation" over everything....

You're right there are different companies but they are all owned by the same corporation and for the most part manufactured at the same place...just some of the companies under the corporation have cheaper product lines and some are higher quality...

why does everyone have to act so technical over everything...

and yes i knew Ma Audio, Clif Designs, Visonik were owned by anaba group inc...i just talked to them today on the phone and i sell all there stuff in our store...

i have been selling car audio for over 10 years with along with my dad i think i know which companies are part of the same corporation

im a dealer for pyle, legacy, lanzar...etc as well as kicker

i may be new to this forum, but im not a "newbie" in car audio by any means

I know that's how it's explained, and that's the same reason why you hear dufuses rambling on about how they'll "never buy soundstream again since they're "made" by Power Acoustik."

or

"Optidrives **** now since they're made by Pyramid."

why does everyone have to act so technical over everything...
it's a forum - what else do we have to do?

Fulmer companies owns Memphis and also fulmer helmets correct

but as far as fultron aria. it was originally fultron then for a very brief period became aria then became Memphis.
