Who all services their own vehicles?

I do all my own maint to my 05 jeep Grand Cherokee and do maint and repair to my 98 s10. i keep a pretty strict schedual on both. In my Jeep Hemi I use Royal Purple synthetic 5w20 motor oil ($6qt) and 75w140 gear oil($10qt) and mobil 1 oil filters.

My S10 is on its 2nd 4.3l motor and has a total of 167000 miles on it. It gets your basic castrol GTX 10w30 and 85w90 gear oil and fram oil filters. I have done a bunch of repair to it.

I just enjoy doing all of the work and serviceing to my vehicles.

Who else does not trust the dealer, service station, or repair shops working on your vehicle?

i do most of my own stuff...if somethin really messes up i take it to my uncles garage

The only time i would take my truck into a shop was if there was a problem i could not figure out and i needed it hooked up to a computer. but once i figured out the problem i would fix it myself. its a lot cheaper and i like working on my truck

I change the gasoline out quite often...

Oh, and I replace the witer air for summer air in the tires every spring and vise-versa in the fall...

Major mechanical stuff I take it to the shop.

Yes but nitrogen is a good idea since it is completely dry air. It make a big difference and keeps more consistant tire pressure.

my friends help me do mine...well the realy hard stuff.but like plugs,wires cap,rotor oil,air ect ect..do that on my own

There is nothing wrong with fram oil filters if used on a 3000 mile schedual. They are not top of the line but are far from garbage.
