Which system better?

I just purchased my first sub and amp and it is still being shipped. I am getting a Alpine M350 200w rms amplifier and 1 Rockford Fosgate P212S4 sub in q-logic box. For now I'm going to use speaker level inputs.

My friend has a Kenwood 7251 amp and 2 Kenwood W300S subs.

I was just wondering if you think my sub/amp will sound better than his? I really don't care a lot about how loud it will get, but whose system do you think will be louder?

well I think if you had two of those subs instead of one you would have the win for sure, but he is pumping 300wrms into TWO 12" subs. Yours might sound a bit better but I bet his will be louder.

it sounds to me like this is a competition for you so you should have done it right and bought a bigger amp and two subs.

As it is you will have to wait and see for sure.
