Which sub would be better to go with spl wise..... CompVR 15" or Solo-Baric 10"? Ya i know but im trying to get best bang for buck :] CompVR = $95 SoloB = $130

i'd get the 15 and port it kind of high, like 33hz or so and put it in maybe a 3 cu ft box. more displacement from the 15

if thats what you wanted for an SPL situation

With the VR15" u will get more spl, with a large ported box tuned for spl.

go wit the 15. that box probably will work, but i'd email the people asking the tuning frequency.

They emailed me back saying its tuned to kickers recommendation on their site but i didnt find anything on it...... maybe someone else can?

get the 15" and make ur own ported box. Many members here can help u with box design/dimensions
