Alright so i have 2 alpine type r 12s running off a memphis prd 1000. The amp is 1000 rms at 1 ohm and i am getting rid of my type rs (which are for sale) because i want louder. So since i have 1000 rms at 1 ohm to work with i as looking to get either:

Rockford Fosgate T2 15 dual 2

Kicker L7 15 dual 2

Alpine Type X 12 dual 2

Kicker CVX 15 dual 2

What are your opinions?

Fi Bl 15" D2

RE SX 15" D2

Arc Audio FL12D2

Image Dynamics IDMAX12-D2

Boston Acoustics G51244 (2 of them)

Audioque HDC315-A

JL Audio 12W6v2 (2 of them)

Cerwin Vega VMAX 12.4 (2 of them)

DC Sound Labs Level 3 (2 of them)

DC Sound Labs Level 4

I could go on and on. There are nearly limitless subwoofer configurations that'll work well with that amp.

i would honestly just build a new box for your r's! going from 2 12's to a single 15 would mean less cone area so already somewhat shooting yourself in the foot.

What kind of box do you have them in now

run the amp at .5 and make sure you have the batt. power to back it up and you will be fine after all rise. and get an actual box instead of prefab and you will notice a world of difference

Yea get a built to specs box and you'll notice the difference. If you wanna change up the subs 300-400 can get you some great 12"s. W/E you get just get a box built not prefab.
