Which sub(s) that I have should I use with this amp?

Hi there.. I just got a new (used) car today, and with it inherited some more car audio. I am curious if I should use a single 12" sub (that is more powerful) or two 12" subs that are weaker and possibly of lesser quality (though I do not know).. and what would likely produce the best sound. Here is what I have:

Amp: BOSS AVA-M4500 -- specs are 250x2 max, 150x2 rms -- s/n 104db --

Deck: Panasonic CD-DFX701U -- old (2001) but 50wx4 mosfet and has aux in which is all i need

Subs:

(1) 12" Sony Xplod 1200 watt peak -- 350w rms

or

(2) 12" Orion Cobalt (CO12s) SVC 400w peak -- 200w rms

Both the Sony sub and Orion subs are in sealed boxes of similar quality.. so with that amp and given these subs.. what should I go with, assuming I'd obviously bridge the 2 channels for the single 12" if I were to use the amp just for the sub(s). What would likely give me the best sound and what would you personally go witH? Thanks in advance..

oh god, now i know what it feels like to be that moron who doesnt know the blatantly obvious to everyone on the forum. i always wondered what that was like, on other forums where i do know stuff. car audio, however, is one of those areas i pretty much dont know anything.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif so what is it i said that is the laughing point?

oh im fully aware its crap.. its all either like 5-7 years old, or just sucks.. i was just wondering whats the least crappiest of all the junk (if thats even possible)..

so going with the orions would be better?

i guess when u have users on a car audio forum with 100's or 1000's of posts, its not every day you come across equipment this good

well I could help you. Some old stuff is good but you have to know what is. You could give me a price range you want to spend on car audio equipment and I could help you out.

Personally I would ditch everything for as much as you can get, and then start reading the forums and getting a feel for the quality products that do exist, for cheap...
Probably a good idea, though I am guessing I probably couldn't get much for this stuff. Regardless, what would you estimate I could get a decent system for by getting some of the products mentioned on this forum (deck, amp(s), tweeters and sub)? Obviously wouldn't go all out. I'd be aiming to go best bang for buck. Cheapest, but still decent.
