Which Brands are on the rise and which are falling?

Clearly you have never seen the Adire Extremis or Tang Band drivers that have accomplished this very feat for nearly 2 years. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
No first hand experience with Tang ..... Found the Adire to be not NEARLY as good as most people claimed it was. Got loud , but didn't sound realistic to my ears.

i cant see why people would think TC is on the down.

THe same people who are really against the TC subs are the same ones suggesting to people just pick the sub that best fits your needs. If TC doesnt fit the bill than dont choose them. Dont make it sound like TC sounds is out to steal your money.

And one person posting immaturely on the forums does not reflect on the performance of their products and not exactly on their service. Heck as seen from blue, that certain people who are trying to get their products sold, of course they are going to be enthusiastic about it.

There are glitches in company. They try to fix them and thats all you can ask from them.

imo. Phoneix gold, Lanzar, PPI, MA audio have all been going down, I'm mainly suprised how pioneer doesn't get talked about lot on here, and there products have been very great over the last years, and i know alpine has been on the rise espically with the hype r.

Almost sounds like there's something wrong with that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No, it doesn't. But when that translates into the wrong surrounds being put on, or coils being unwound in order to make them fit on motors that never should have been reconed, or fundamental misunderstandings of how to design a woofer, well, it's your money after all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Some people like to play the lottery, too, I'm not one of them.

Pg had a bad run in with the xenons, but I dnt think they really went down hill like people have said. If anything things are looking up for pg. The original engineer of the ms amps is back, and he designed the rsd amps, which have been great so far, along with the rsd subs that have done great thus far. Things will definately be on the rise for pg. As for pg amps not being as good as they were, I have to dissagree once again. I have a m44 sitting here right in front of me as we speak, along with others, and it sounds no better than my xenon 200.2, or even the titaniums. Owning both old and new school pg, im well aware that the overall build quility, and sq, has not gone down over the years. Just my 2cents

Olde English logo fonts for the win.
* I just noticed the guy with the sony comment is running xplode 6x9s.

YUP, and they sound awesome..............like i said

I'm calling bullshit on that one.
call whatever you like.........doesn't mean you're right.....doesn't mean i'm right either......but it doesn't mean you are

Sony select decks are solid and they are building/designing a new mobile es type deck ... they are more than just xplode even now. what determines whats going up or down? how they do in competition? forum opinion?weather or not they give stuff away for competitors?

Sony is moving above and beyond the xplod stuff.........true......but the xplod stuff I've used so far is **** good

What are the misunderstandings on their designs?

And the first quote, is kinda taken out of context. Instead of saying this sub doesnt fit the application and keeping it at that, people go a tad too far.

Ive demoed their subs and they sound (to me) above the "average" status your giving them. *edit* IMO, you are still paying for what you get.

I thougth pg was bought out though?

Agree..still duno y yall hate on the type r..

my thoughts on usamps are that they aren't what they once were.....
Im going to to be 100% honest with you right now.

Florida > California.

USamps Class D's built in FL:

-Rated to 1/4 ohm stable, could almost handle a dead short. Their componet amps could handle 1ohm stereo.

-Size of a surf board but powerful as phuck

-Still running strong 10 years after they where built

-Still selling for more than the new amps

-Cant kill dem *****es. Any of them.

USamps Class D's Built in CA:

-Rated to 1ohm stable, wont go much lower.

-About the same as other amps in the same power range...not as powerful as the old ones though.

-We dont know if they will be running 9 years from now

-Selling at greatly depreciated values...which makes it great if you are looking to buy used and can find one in good condition...not so great if you want to go new.

-They are killable...

I still think they are awsome amps. But they are DEFFANITELY not what they once where.

That is all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
