Problem with Pioneer 880PRS and Ipod adaptor (CD-IB100II)

When I plug in my ipod, it turns on, but thats it. I push the SRC button and it goes from Disk to Tuner, but never to ipod...Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure you have the cable (the pioneer 11 or 12 pin) connected place, because there is an input and output on the iPod adapter box.

I went through the same thing with my Sirius box.
