Which Amp?

I am trying to pick between a rockford fosgate t100bdcp or t1500bdcp. The amp will power two sundown sa-8 v2's 4DVC, now should I get the t1000 and wire it down to 2ohms or get the t1500 and have it wired to 4ohms. Or is the t1500 amp to powerful for 2 sa-8's?

Assuming u meant the T1000 would be wired at 1ohm with theses dual 4ohm subs the t1000 @1ohm will provide more power than the t1500 @4ohm. That bein said if I had either amp of my choosing Id go with th 1500 with the head room of addin 2 more sa8s also the 1500 will be more efficient running @4ohm vs the t1000 @1ohm.

Yeah 1500 IMO too........ more pwr the better, but make sure you wire them to 4 ohm

meh im pretty sure like 90% that those sa 8's will take 1500s(750 each sub) with no problem. those 8s are stout. ive seen up to 1k on 1 8 before and it did fine. just make sure you box is decent

Hey Guys !!! I could use some advice on which amp to purchase . I recently bought 3 kicker cvx 12 subs to install in my galant , also I don't know if matters if factory radio plays a different in sound.

T1000bdcp does 1000 at 1 or 2 ohms and 700w at 4 ohms

T1500bdcp does 1500 at 1 or 2 ohms and 1000w at 4 ohms

You'd probably be safe running the T1000 at 1 ohm or the T1500 at 2-4 ohm (due to rise)

run it at 1 ohm t1500 are you set on rockford amps? people here might be able to suggest a little inexpensive amp that will power those sundowns, just throwing it out there

Wire each speaker in series the take the leads put the together to run a 4 ohm load
