Please tell me you are kidding.
If not please read more about workings of amplifiers and power in relationship to load and efficiency before playing with 3000 watts.
so if a saz-3000d which is an amp which is known to be quite underrated wont even give me 3k rms daily at the very least even at 1ohm then which amp in the world could actually give me 3k rms daily?? how much impedance rise could there possibly be when 1 sub is wired down to 1ohm?? this is complete bs if this is true cuz then thered be no **** point in getting this thing if it wont even do rated power daily which tons of ppl have told me so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Somebody please step in. I give up.

Buy you a sundown 5k and you can get 3k daily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

someone plz do, because if the things you are saying really are true then there are just too many stupid ppl on this forum that give out info without even knowing wtf there talking about! and these ppl to me seemed pretty reliable yet all that ive heard from them is bs bout getting ATLEAST 3k from a saz-3000d?? someone step in quick b4 i buy this thing and not even get what the **** amp is supposed to do...

Im telling you its you that doesnt know whats going on or how an amplifier works. I am telling you to do some research before buying an amplifier of this magnitude.

For your application we will call it 3000 watts. Happy?

wdf i would need a 5k to get 3k daily??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif this is f$3ked up yo! please someone tell me why the hell would i pay for a 3k rated amp(underrated by quite a bit at that) when it wont even give me at the very least 3k rms??

ive read about all i could about this amp (saz-3000d) which is why i was so hell bent on getting it because ive seen all the test results of them on ssa including the impedance rises and low voltages. where would i find info about this amp that i havent read yet that would tell me how much i could actually get from it in daily use?

Music is dynamic. This is key. Also clipping and impedance rise will come into play. Also system voltage. There is no way anybody can tell you what its going to put out cuz it will change every second to every note to whatever.

Yes the amp will supply 3000 watts but you arent understanding the principles of why or how. I will just dumb it down and say you will get your 3000 watts. Happy?

reasonable enough i guess. now back to the topic on hand, anyone else got opinions on which sub i should choose for sql performance? so far it seems the btl and xxx are neck n neck but i would need a clearer decision for me to pick one rather than the other.

if he has an HO alt. and Big ole battery, he should get about 3000 outta that amp when its crankin big notes... obviously he's not gettin that power on a 60hz note, but at tuning he should see around that...

Power Output at Maximum Volume before Protection:

67.4 volts

77.1 amps

5196 watts

Power supply voltage was 16.5 volts at rest dropping to around 14.5 volts. So consider this a 14.5 volt output rating.

Our clamp meter ran out of steam at 400 amps so we measured efficiency at lower levels:

3294 watts @ 84% efficiency (252 amps draw)

3938 watts @ 81% efficiency (316 amps draw)

4424 watts @ 74% efficiency (392 amps draw)

We didn't have an electrical setup to run 12.8 volt testing available at this time.

now im not saying 3000 on the dot, but he should get close, with 200-250A alt. runnin about 14V

he seems fairly new, you guys know what he's lookin for, he's not gonna understand all these technicalities that i've never seen you guys talk about before

That is very true. But I told him to research. You should know basic rules of power if you are trying to run 3000 watts.

Also impedance rise is usually highest at tuning. But more efficient //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ok then how about this, with a 200amp alt and 2 d3100s with a xxx or btl (whichever your more experienced with) knowing its coils wired down to 1ohm along with imp rise, wat range of wattage should i be seeing running it for daily app which is supposedly "dynamic" power?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
