Which 10" sub to get, Lethal Injection or Diamond D6

Nine.1 is going to be powering them and they will be in 1 cubic foot sealed fiberglass box with 6 inches of mounting depth.

Which will get louder, which will take more watts, which has better SQ.... help a newb out!!

How's the SQ on a LI sub??? I'd rather get a sub I can worry LESS about blowing (I will be careful with the power I send to it, but you know how it is)

i dont know about the LI but the D6 is a great sounding sub.

The D6 sounds good but takes a good amount of power to get going and that sub will probably reach xmax at 600 watts with very average output in an average box. Are you going to be getting two or one? If you are only getting one in a sealed box I would go with a bigger better sub, like a RE SX, IDmax, Brahma, W7, Soundsplinter or the Diamond TDX or D9 etc.

Oh, six inches of mounting depth will be a problem for most of the subs I listed. sorry. Try this

This sub will work in that box and get a good deal louder than the D6 with half the watts. You would not want to push it too hard with that amp though.

i have a hard time getting any of diamonds subs to last. i have blown an uncountable number of tdx's and other diamond subs. i got so pissed that i called coot over at diamond and set the amps exactly as he told me, which was **** close to how i had it setup. the box is built to spec as well. i break them in for about six hours at a moderate level as reccomended. some last a year, others last a few days. touchy things.
