Hello folks.

A buddy of mine is Shocker Audio obsessed and is after a Shocker or 2 to ADD to his existing collection //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Now, I seem to remember that Mike and shockeraudio.com wnet out, but am I right in thinking their back, with backing from somebody else, or something like that?

Maybe Im wrong, but could somebody lemme know where you can buy Shockers from?

Thanks

Im 90% sure earthquake sound bought them out, I know there using shockers motor structure for the new upcoming subs from earthquake.

Maybe dreid has some old Shockers kickin' around somewhere ... or knows where a couple are.

They pop up in the Classifieds every once in a while. You'll see them on Termpro more than here, though.

Thanks folks (Steve //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ). I for some silly reason thought that they started doing Shockers again, told my buddy and he was like 'well if they have, i need another 2 12's', so I said I'd find out for him. Looks like Im wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

January 28, 2004 -- Earthquake Sound said in January that it plans on purchasing Shocker Audio. The announcement came from Joseph Sahyoun, VP of Earthquake Sound and Mike Ankney, president of Shocker Audio.

Heavily involved in db Drag competitions, Earthquake said Shocker Audio has also catered to this crowd, and has taken many trophies including the new world record currently held by Shocker Audio using Shocker woofers and Earthquake amps.

In a release, the companies said the purchase would put two of the biggest names in dB Drag under one roof. More details on the purchase will be released at a later date.

Thats why I said 90% sure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/moon.gif.9d317aec3339ffe7fde0638df52c628a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Im listing a pair on Ebay.

They were a buddy of mine's.

Anybody with more info on the specs of these would be greatly appreciated so I can update my ebay listiing.

They are 12", Fat surround, weigh 28-30lbs, dual 2 ohm voice coil.

I was told that they are Shocker Extreme SS, and handle 4000 watts, and require a HUGE BOX.

where were they built when shocker was still alive? someone told me they were built near my town in ohio
Yes, these were supposed to be from Shocker NOT from earthquake.

Because he told me that it was before he went to work for earthquake.

Yea, sorry for the old post revival. Newbie here, and was researching online to see if I could find a comparable price. Couldnt, so I just listed them for what he was asking. He paid out the butt for these, something like 400 per sub, now he's just trying to get rid of them, and move on with life.
