When Setting the gains.. I know I know

Actually it would be best, b/c even w/ a DMM. You 'could' still be clipping.
I used a DMM to set my gains on my 1200Ds. Each 34.6v AC for 1200rms, but w/ an oscope I found I can go upto 41.3v AC @ 1ohm each before they start to clip.

Well should the bass EQ on the HU always be set to 0 or below since most amps have built is bass boosts, etc?
