whay to set amp gains at

There is no easier way I don't have all those tools. I thought it would be easy as. If my amp out outs 50 RMS and speakers are set to 80 RMS then I would set the gain to 70 on the amp

 
Well your amp has a .2-4v input sensitivity.. so if you ratio that out, it should be barely below half gain i believe.

Assuming you have a 2 volt preout from your HU.
