This is what I currently have installed, and what I paid:
CDA9883 brand new w/ Alpine warranty $125
SLX265 Upgraded Comps- Used slightly $150
SPR17LP Rears- brand new warranty w/ alpine: $30
JL 9 wire- brand new: $20
15 ft piece of 1/0 w/ring terminals I think $40
Digital Distro - $15
PDX1.600- brand new w/ alpine warranty $250
2 12 Type S's- brand new w/ alpine warranty $30 each
Alpine MRP-F550- Brand new w/ Alpine warranty- $150
36 sqft of Dynamat- $100
Sub box $35
Kinetik Hc1400 - $120
All small wiring, pieces of cloth, zip ties etc stuff like that.. FREE
GRAND TOTAL: ABOUT $1065
I think its a killer budget system considering Pretty much everything is under alpines warranty.
This is what I plan on changing in the setup in the near future:
1. Swapping the CDA-9883 for the CDA-9887
2. By doing that Swap going active with the 9887(I heard you can alot easier)
3. Buy another Dynamat Extreme bulk pack 36sqft for $100 and put more into the trunk, and into the front doors.
4. Buy some much higher quality RCA's and run them.
5. Then maybe possibly down the road get a better rear fill... Doubt it though.

What is your system, and what did you pay for it? I know before this system I had 2 other systems. 1 of which I completely overpaid for(my first one), and the 2nd was a pretty good setup...but this setup is far more SQ than SPL(Like my last setups)
What do you think you could get if you sold everything today?
And one last question, probably a question that doesnt get asked much around here.
How do you like your front stage IMAGING?
