wire question

i just put a set of cerwin vega 8" subs in my truck runing off a sony xplod amp and i have them runing off 16 gage wire... is that to small? also i want to hook the amp up to my pheonix gold rsd 6.5 speakers, how do i do that ? do i justr run a wire from the and to the neg and positive on the speaker ? thanx

ya just corrected the ones you spelled wrong thatdidnt just seem like a typo

you spelled amp wrong as well

btw depends on how much poser you are running, but 16awg is small for subs

isn't the "and" here suppose to be "amp"

8awg wouldnt hurt, even 12awg would probably be fine

you won't get any productive advice until we know specifically what subs and what amp (model numbers) you're dealing with.

If you have a small amp 16 ga might be perfectly sufficient.

If you have a 2 ch amp it would not be suggested to try to run subs AND full range speakers on it etc. - more info.
