what's up with my voltage?

it's a 2007 grand prix. so is a h.o alt pretty much pointless or what are my options here I'm going to be running roughly 3k rms daily at .5 ohm how do I keep my voltage up or at least stable
o thats right i completely read right over the car ha ha. no a H/O alt is going to be needed but there are ways to bypass the alt not charging and charging. in a grand prix its hard to tell.

On Honda's in order to defeat the alternator from going into idle mode, a resistor is added to a spot in the underhood fuse block.

I would think your best bet it to start another thread asking how to override it on a GrandPrix and also search around the net for a GP forum and ask over there as well.

Also if you bought a single wire HO alt (not sure if one is made for your car) that would do it as well.

I'm gonna have to call them and see what they say and check with zzp on reprogramming the ecu....I know zzp carries a voltage booster but I'm not sure if that's a bypass or what
